Wanted

Just saw this movie, and i thought it was amazing. Pretty sweet special effects, and it almost seemed somewhat matrix-esque..... but not really. go check this out, i thought it was a blast.

agreed...and I definitely agree about the matrix like effects. Fabulous movie, even had a semi-decent storyline.

Yeah, I agree! I actually laughed out loud when they showed the ridiculous sniper shots... so ridiculously they were almost sappy. Almost. They were still very cool.

And you gotta love where Morgan Freeman is taking his career. He's definitely passed the point at which he can reject all the stupid, crappy roles and just take the badass ones. Speaking of which, I just watched Lucky Number Slevin for the first time this past weekend. Really enjoyed it, but it doesn't look like it did that well on ole' Rotten Tomatoes. Oh well, critics aren't the world. And I was surprised that I enjoyed Lucy Liu's performance - I thought it'd get annoying and old quick. :)

hahahaha, that is hilarious..... i just saw lucky number sleven too, the night right after i saw Wanted. I just figured i wouldn't say anything about it since it's been out for a little while :) also a great movie

I concur..saw it long time ago, but I do remember liking it.

Haha, the crazy thing I found about Lucky Number Slevin was the plastic bag thing. It's so "tame" compared to so much of the ultra-violence we watch in movies nowadays... yet it made me flinch and cringe more than most blood-and-guts movies scenes I've ever watched.

But, but on topic, I laughed to myself when I saw how cool the sniper bullets were, with the rifling and all that (I'm assuming that's what the spirals were). And do sniper bullets really do that - I mean, have casings that look like rocket booster stages? I thought the casing itself flew off back from the rifle out of which it was fired, not mid-flight... unless it's something else? Like a rocket booster stage for bullets? =O

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that wasn't a real bullet design, but who knows...google Wanted Bullets :D

hey, i thought that the wanted bullets were sweet! especially the one he used to shoot from the apartment!

Few weeks ago I was trying to Google these bullets but that's the problem with a movie when it's titled something so common... references have been impossible to find so far!

hahaha...... wanted bullets.... that's sure to bring up a TON of links
