| One of, if not the, most badass anime of all time (though David probably disagrees). Not only does it have the near constant and insane action, nice soundtrack, great animation, but it also examines many themes of existential philosophy; reasons for existance, death, morality, etc... I think that few people give the show credit for this because it is done through the characters, their actions and choices, rather than directly through dialogue. There was some talk of a second season, but the manga is not far enough along, maybe sometime in the future. Also the Manga is apparently not available at all in the U.S., even in Japanese, so if anyone knows where I could find that, let me know. | |

| I have watched the first few of Kurenai, and will watch the rest when I'm done my classes. That's also a really good anime though I haven't watched enough yet to make any final statements about it. You know that though, I was saying that that is what you should show at Animania, remember? You know how I said I can't find the manga of Black Lagoon here. It's apparently licensed in the U.S. but no one is distributing it, which is just stupid. I figured that out because I found a site that had been translating it, but stopped when it was licensed, so they weren't even as far as the anime. | |

| You can watch them streaming for free on Veoh, (most likely, they might make you sign up and download their player in order to see more than the preview, but that's usually only for stuff that's more than half an hour). You could sign up, they don't spam you or anything, and then you could stream them or download them from there. Or you can find torrents and download those from the wider web. So, I just double checked, for Black Lagoon: Go to www.veoh.comabove the search bar select channels search for: Black Lagoon The second result has all 24 episodes subbed, pretty good quality For Kurenai, same thing just search Kurenai instead, there will be a bunch of results, find one you like (subbed or raw, decent quality). Kurenai is still running, there's probably 10 or 11 episodes out now, ask David.

| I think he saw the first one or two, maybe? I'm pretty sure he's waiting until the season is over to watch the rest though. I think he knows how many episodes are out now though, I could be wrong. | |

| I made an exception this season. I watched the first three episodes of everything. I mean, EVERYTHING. It was intense. Kurenai was one of the few ones that caught my attention, that's all. | |

| ah, alright. If you can find me a place to directly download either of these, i will gladly take a look. My internet is too slow to watch things via stream, and my internet provide will shut off my internet if i use any bittorrent type files. luckily, i can still download my favorite animes with direct download. | |

| Well, if you sign up for veoh and download their player, then you can download anything on their site. Go to where it streams and somewhere on the right hand side there is a tab that says "download options" click that and then the one that says my computer. I don't know of anywehre else you could get it without streaming it or using a torrent file. Though admittedly theirs is peer to peer. I don't know exactly what the file type is, so I don't know what your internet provider would think of it. I don't think it's a torrent file, but it might be. Also, when I say that you can stream on Veoh though it's not the stupid streaming where it just completely fails if the connection isn't fast enough, you could open it, pause it, and then do something else for a few hours while it buffers. Here is Veoh's FAQ if it helps any: http://www.veoh.com/static/corporate/faq.html#tech04 | |
