Sunday Gaming

So I sent out an email earlier, and I think I hit everyone but in case I missed anyone I figured it would be cool to have a gaming session every sunday night from like 5-9. Hang out and chat on vent and play whatever we want on hamachi online lan. If you have any questions or need more info let me know. Also let me know if this seems like a good idea or a waste of time.

I thought hamachi had a user limit for free accounts? If it's something like 20, then there's no big deal, but I thought it was like, 8.

I'd really like to participate, but I think my mic is broken for now. I'll look into getting a new one, but no guarantees as of now. Too bad it's not skype, where I can use my PSP xD

Just for the record, what kinds of games were you thinking of?

Any weekend is fine, whenever I'm around I'll be on. If I'm not then I'll try to leave my vent set up so whoever shows can use it. My mic is currently not working either...working on getting it fixed.

and most games we would lan don't play with more than 8 people anyway. WC3, starcraft, heroes of might and magic 3, whatever other games people have that they want to play. Games on steam we don't really need hamachi for.

i'll definitely be in for this. can't guarantee i'll be available every time, but i'm up for gaming.

Yeah, I am busy quite a bit too, but I'm leaving the vent open so anyone can utilize it. I haven't had anyone connect to it yet, so I'm going to have to work with someone to make sure I have everything set up right. I'll talk with Tim tonight and hopefully have it up and ready for next week.

Also, for anyone interested (and able to be in town) I'm gonna have a get-together at my place this weekend...planning on saturday, but I'll be free all weekend. I got a projector from my dad so I'm hooking up the wii and using my living room wall as the new big screen for mariokart and any other games we wanna play (of course I'm sure there will be board games and computer games as well). Let me know if you're interested in coming.

Ok, to connect to my vent you need to have hamachi running. Connect to network SundayGaming (one word) and password is party. Vent will be at 5.141.86.198, but only if you are connected to me thru hamachi. Tim and I have been unable to get it to work outside of that. Password for the vent is also hamachi.

Ok...so like 5 minutes later we got it working, so you can either connect through hamachi or directly to 24.23.77.122. Let me know if anyone has problems connecting.

sweet, yeah I had tried connecting a few days ago and it didn't work. I figured it was because you didn't have the vent server running... but it looks like that has been resolved!

Hopefully I should be able to keep it up full time now...pending alison shutting down my computer.

Okay, I've got both Hamachi and Ventrilo downloaded and installed. However, I'm not sure if I'm using them correctly. Anyways, its like 2am here. I'm going to go to sleep for a little bit and see if I can wake up early.
