| I don't know how many of you are photography buffs, but I just got this Nikon D5000 DSLR camera here in Beijing. It's not so bad for an entry-level DSLR, 12 megapixels, 720p HD video recording, and all of the cool DSLR stuff like 11 point AutoFocus and stuff like that.
If nobody responds, then that's cool too, I just learned that it can be an expensive hobby, with the higher-end cameras going for $2800 for just the body, and even the low end kits are around $400.

| Haha, that's cool man. I'm a fan of pictures taken of friends I guess... I enjoy seeing various moments caught on film. Thing is, I enjoy picture-taking only in the context that I like art - so I technically don't like picture-taking purely for picture-taking's sake.
That's cool, though. Maybe you should photoshop your exploits and make Fatal Frame-esque renditions.

| I haven't played it, but it's a survival horror game. It looks like the premise is that a young woman (your character) is trapped inside an old mansion, and she ends up finding this camera whose flash wards off the evil spirits and ghosts around her. I'm not sure how it works exactly, but the camera might hurt or even exterminate them? So she goes around taking pictures of various rooms and items, and when the pictures develop (it's one of those "instant print-out" cameras), of course there are heebly-jeeblies on them (effects/apparitions not originally apparent). That's what it looks like to me so far based on previews. | |
