I thought this movie was amazing. It's like, straight out of a cthulhu or world of darkness story. Really really [!] creepy, but if you have the balls to see it, I suggest it. I haven't found a scary movie that i've enjoyed as much as this one in a long long time.

Another movie I have seen recently. It just opened at the Chicago Film Festival a few weeks ago. The movie is directed by John Woo and he was there for the premier and took questions from the audience after. It was pretty awesome. Expensive ($25 per ticket... ugh!) but awesome.

The movie is based on the Chinese literature Romance of the Three Kingdoms. If you've ever played any of the Dynasty Warriors video games, those games are based on the same book. The book is something like 3000 ...

has anyone seen this? It is friggin hilarious. Easily comparable to Shaun of the Dead, but I thought it was funnier. The acting is stupendous and the story is... to un-die for? hahaha, i crack myself up. but seriously if you're a fan of zombie movies and comedies you should see this. I don't want to give too much of the story/gags away but it is well worth the price of admission.

If you don't know what College Football Pick'em is, it is essentially a 'pick the winner' type format each week for college football games. It is free and a nice simple alternative to standard fantasy football. it doesn't take very long each week, so if you're busy, don't worry this won't eat up all your free time.

The first weekend is for picks is the weekend of September 5th, so if you are ...

So the full story goes like this. I get /. email updates, and one of them references Fuller's Dymaxion car. So I go searching for that on wiki, and discover that he used "Dymaxion" to brand his stuff. One of the things he branded was a polyphasic sleep schedule. Poly for many, phase, so multi-phased sleep schedule, as opposed to our normal monophasic sleep schedule (sleep <8 hours at night). Essentially, it stresses taking naps during the day and sleeping less at night to get ...

Go see this movie. It's as simple as that. I think this has been the best movie of the summer. Good story? check. Good acting? check. Good action? check. Good effects? check.

Basically it is filled with lesser to unknown actors (you might recognize a few of the people, but probably won't know from where) that do an admirable job. The roles are played brilliantly and maybe more importantly - believably. Much of the movie is shot documentary style (think Cloverfield with 50% less shaky-cam) ...

Some of my friends were excited for this movie when the previews first came out before we were bombarded by the fantastic Star Trek movie, but I personally had been less than impressed. Some of the CG effects (especially the running shots of the "Delta 6 Accelerator Suits") looked somewhat... plastic, and overall it was just sort of a roll-my-eyes moment for me. But as time has gone on, I'm starting to develop an itch for this upcoming G.I. Joe movie. I don't know why - maybe it has ...

1) I don't have your email

2) I don't have your current email

3) I don't have email

4) Somehow I managed to not click your name when I was going through the hundreds of addresses in my contact list
