Chapter 3: Magically Delicious

Previously, our heroes traveled to the shore-side town of Somi-Seawell to assist the folk there against local border raids. Pirates from Aquatrane are implicated in the plot to throw off shipments due to Seawell, and with the help of local lizardfolk, the adventurers manage to put an end to Captain Spriggan and her villainous crew.

Now, resting in Seawell, the group reports to Leland-Sir, their official contact in Sesolston, by messenger. Even now, cities ...

The History of Novemterra

Most of Novemterra's inhabitants couldn't recite the actual story of their world's origin word for word. However, most common folk have at least heard the legend, and get the gist of it. The story is passed down from one generation to another primarily through oral tradition. It is told in many different ways and has many different versions, but all share a general similarity. The version presented here is the general version that any typical common folk would ...

I thought this movie was amazing. It's like, straight out of a cthulhu or world of darkness story. Really really [!] creepy, but if you have the balls to see it, I suggest it. I haven't found a scary movie that i've enjoyed as much as this one in a long long time.

Before anyone asks, I don't have an invite.
I was thinking of doing a D20 plugin thingy for Google Wave. dice rolls would be integrated, along with possibly other cool features. Maybe even an interactive map feature. Just throwing that out there. Hopefully if I get an invite, I can start working on it. Anything is possible!

Another movie I have seen recently. It just opened at the Chicago Film Festival a few weeks ago. The movie is directed by John Woo and he was there for the premier and took questions from the audience after. It was pretty awesome. Expensive ($25 per ticket... ugh!) but awesome.

The movie is based on the Chinese literature Romance of the Three Kingdoms. If you've ever played any of the Dynasty Warriors video games, those games are based on the same book. The book is something like 3000 ...

So I sent out an email earlier, and I think I hit everyone but in case I missed anyone I figured it would be cool to have a gaming session every sunday night from like 5-9. Hang out and chat on vent and play whatever we want on hamachi online lan. If you have any questions or need more info let me know. Also let me know if this seems like a good idea or a waste of time.

has anyone seen this? It is friggin hilarious. Easily comparable to Shaun of the Dead, but I thought it was funnier. The acting is stupendous and the story is... to un-die for? hahaha, i crack myself up. but seriously if you're a fan of zombie movies and comedies you should see this. I don't want to give too much of the story/gags away but it is well worth the price of admission.
